In a world saturated with glamorous depictions of real estate success, it's important to recognize the reality beneath the surface. As an individual who made the bold decision to pursue a career in real estate fresh out of full-time military service, I understand firsthand the challenges and uncertainties that accompany this path.

Opting to forego a university offer to dive headfirst into the real estate industry was a decision met with skepticism from many, including my own parents. They couldn't grasp why I would willingly choose to depart from the stability of a conventional 9-5 job post-degree in favor of the unpredictable journey of a self-employed real estate agent.

However, I remained steadfast in my conviction and refused to let the opinions of others sway my decision. I embraced the leap of faith, fully aware of the risks and challenges that lay ahead. Venturing into this new terrain required courage and resilience, traits that I honed during my time in the military. Despite the uncertainties, I was determined to carve out my own path and chart a course towards professional fulfillment.
